There are a few options when cycling from Olvera to Ronda and this specific route is half/half paved/unpaved.

The route starts from the historic town of Olvera, and ends in Ronda via the unique and beautiful town Setenil de las Bodegas, which boasts stunning cave houses.

From Olvera to Setenil de las Bodegas, you will ride the paved section of the route, using quiet back roads with charming views of the local countryside. The road undulates a little as you surf the Andalucian hills.

From Setenil you will find the majority of your ascent as you take paved roads out of town and back into nature. About halfway through your route, after you finish climbing, you will start the gravel section of your ride.

Peaceful backtracks take you past farmland and ranches and alongside the train line as you approach Ronda, where you will ride through town to the historic neighbourhood of San Francisco.
