The route starts from the top of the White Village of Grazalema (Officially one of Spain's most beautiful villages). Cycling down with great views of the town from above, you will descend through the town's main plaza and out into the countryside followed by a short ascent.

After your first ascent, you will take a paved road through a Cork Oak forest that forms part of the Grazalema Natural Park. The road lasts for 10km followed by an ascent around a local dam, where you will have some epic views of the rugged landscape and Grazalema mountains.

From the dam, you will undulate a little before a long descent via the town of Montejaque, which offers a good chance to stop for a drink in the main plaza. The downhill section continues until you reach the Guardiaro River leading you to the natural swimming pool at the Cueva del Gato.

If you decide to stop for a swim or to dip your feet test the water first, it can be cold.

The final stage of this route will be your climb up into Ronda, where you will finish by cycling up into the old neighbourhood of El Barrio San Fransico via views of the famous Ronda bridge Puente Nuevo.
