Ronda to Setenil de las Bodegas Easy is a great route for the less experienced cyclist who wants to see the countryside and one of Spain's most beautiful villages, Setenil de las Bodegas, without the difficulty of hills.

The route will take you from Ronda into the countryside on a flat 18 km section popular with local cyclists. Using gravel tracks and unpaved roads you will avoid a lot of traffic for the majority of the ride. Your route will also pass through olive groves, vineyards and oak forests. After the first 18km, you will get to enjoy a long descent on quiet paved roads to the edge of Setenil de las Bodegas where you will take a pretty backtrack road into the town itself.

Once in Setenil de las Bodegas, you will follow the road banded with cave houses and businesses built into the rock along the river. The centre of town can get busy with foot traffic so hopping off and walking the bike through the centre of town can be easier and also slow you down to absorb this unique village.

From the centre of town, you will need to mount your bikes and cycle a short distance to the agreed meeting point.

A large portion of paved sections are downhill for a smooth ride. You will find some cobbled streets in Setenil de las Bodegas as well as some vehicles and foot traffic.
