Because we partner with several of Ronda’s best boutique wineries, our route varies to ensure you get the best experience on the day. Whether we head through the rolling hills to the north or along the scenic plateau, you will always cycle on a carefully selected mix of quiet country roads, smooth gravel tracks, and rural lanes far from the main traffic.

2. Effortless Riding on Premium E-Bikes

While the terrain around Ronda is famous for its "undulations," our E-bikes make the distance feel flat. The Bosch motor provides smooth, powerful assistance, allowing you to maintain a steady pace across any terrain. You can focus entirely on the views of the surrounding mountains and oak forests rather than the effort of the climb.

3. The Vineyard & Wine Tasting

Upon arrival at the bodega, you’ll trade your helmet for a wine glass. You will enjoy a guided tour of the bodega and the production area, followed by a professional tasting of award-winning Serranía de Ronda wines. Depending on the winery, this often includes a selection of local tapas such as artisan cheeses or Iberian ham.

4. Minivan Collection & Return

Once the tasting is finished, there’s no need to get back in the saddle. We collect you and the bikes in our comfortable air-conditioned minivan. You can sit back and enjoy the scenic drive back up to Ronda, arriving back in town in time for a siesta or a late lunch.

What to Expect

This is a guided bicycle ride with a qualified guide, followed by a vineyard tour and wine tasting with a local wine specialist.

The bicycles are e-bikes.

Once you meet your guide at the pre-selected pick-up point, they will drive you to the start and set you up with all the equipment needed. Once ready, you will cycle roughly 18km from the Ronda fairground to a local vineyard.

Our first choice vineyard is BadMan Winery, but we have a selection if you have already toured the facility or if they do not have availability.

Once you complete the experience, your guide will be ready to take you back to the meeting point.

TThe route is typically 18km (11 miles) but will vary slightly depending on the bodega chosen. The route has a couple of short and steep climbs and one gradual climb at the beginning. The route is mostly downhill.

What to Bring

At White Village Tours, we handle the technical logistics, including bike maintenance, expert GPS route planning, and support vehicle coordination - so you can focus entirely on the ride. To ensure your comfort and safety in the Andalusian countryside, please arrive prepared with the following:

1. Clothing & Footwear.

Ride Comfort: Wear comfortable, moisture-wicking sportswear. While professional padded cycling shorts are not strictly required for our E-bike tours, they are highly recommended for maximum comfort.
Footwear: Sturdy, closed-toe trainers or sports shoes are essential. Please avoid flip-flops, sandals, or loose footwear.
Layers: Temperatures in the Serranía de Ronda can vary between the valley floors and mountain passes. We recommend bringing a light windbreaker or gilet for morning starts and long descents.

2. Sun & Element Protection.

The Spanish sun is powerful year-round. Please bring high-factor sunscreen/suncream and a pair of sunglasses to protect against UV rays and dust.
A small day-pack is useful for carrying personal items, a camera, or a light jacket.

3. Fuel & Hydration

Nutrition: We strongly recommend eating a healthy, energy-rich breakfast before your tour begins.
Hydration: All our bikes are fitted with bottle cages and bottle water, but extra water is always recommended.

4. The Essentials:

Ensure your mobile phone is fully charged for navigation and photos.
Bring a small amount of cash or a card for coffee stops or souvenirs in the white villages.
Most importantly: Bring a sense of adventure, we’ve taken care of the rest!

How difficult are the E-bike tours?

We offer a range of distances, from 18km to 53km. While the terrain around Ronda is naturally undulating, our E-bikes feature powerful Bosch motors that neutralise the climbs. Whether you choose an "Easy" vineyard roll or a "Moderate" circular expedition, the electric assist ensures you can focus on the scenery rather than the effort.

Do I need to cycle back to Ronda?

This depends on your chosen route. For our Bike to Bodega and certain village tours, we provide a comfortable minivan collection at the end of the ride so you can enjoy your wine tasting or lunch without worrying about the return journey. For our Circular routes, the ride starts and finishes in Ronda. Check your specific tour itinerary for details.

What happens if I have a mechanical issue?

Even on our self-guided day trips, you are never truly alone. We provide phone support and can dispatch a support vehicle if you encounter a mechanical problem you can’t fix. We ensure all our bikes are precision-maintained, but we are always just a call away for total peace of mind.

Is there a minimum fitness level required?

Our E-bike tours are designed to be accessible to anyone who can ride a bicycle. Because you can adjust the level of "assist" on the motor, you can make the ride as easy or as active as you like. We do recommend a basic level of comfort on two wheels, especially for our longer circular routes.

What is included with the E-bike hire?

Every tour includes a premium E-Bike, a safety helmet, and a pre-loaded GPS route for your phone or Garmin device. For our guided vineyard tours, the winery visit and professional tasting are also included in the package.

What should I wear and bring?

We recommend comfortable sportswear and closed-toe trainers. While padded cycling shorts are not strictly necessary for shorter trips, they do provide extra comfort. Don't forget suncream, sunglasses, and snacks.
