Guided walk through a private forest of endangered trees
Meal included
Transport from Ronda included
Experience hosted in a private estate
Your journey begins in Ronda, where you’ll be picked up by minibus and driven deep into the untamed beauty of the Sierra de las Nieves mountains. Tucked away in this wild terrain lies a private cortijo — your gateway to a hidden world few ever get to see.
Upon arrival, your local guide will lead you on a nature walk through an ancient Spanish Fir forest — one of the last of its kind, and fiercely protected by the family that has cared for this land for generations. This forest is home to rare and endangered flora, and as you move through the shifting ecosystems, you'll uncover the secrets of the landscape — from curious plant life to the subtle changes in terrain that mark each zone.
The trail winds through roughly 2 to 3 kilometers of pristine wilderness. Though the route is gentle in elevation, the sense of discovery makes it feel like a real expedition — a quiet adventure in a place untouched by the outside world.
Your reward lies at the end of the trail: a hand-built log cabin, crafted by the family deep within the forest. Here, surrounded by towering trees and the sounds of nature, you'll enjoy a well-earned meal in one of the most atmospheric dining spots you’ll ever experience.
After this unforgettable feast, the group will return to Ronda, carrying with them a memory of the Sierra that few travellers ever get to claim.
