This tour has been designed around a selection of local towns that are officially recognised as some of the most beautiful in Spain.
The Bonito White Village Tour has been designed with a focus on three of Spain’s most beautiful towns, which are officially titled ‘Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España’. These towns must meet strict cultural, historical and aesthetic criteria.
Grazalema, Zahara de la Sierra and Setenil de las Bodegas are the three towns in question that belong to this association, and each has unique qualities, making it a fascinating and beautiful cycling tour.
The tour lasts 6 days and 5 nights, with 4 days on the saddle. The tour starts and finishes in Ronda and has a nice variety of distances ranging between 43km and 18km per day.
The Bonito Tour utilises quiet back roads and tracks and consists mostly of paved surfaces, except for day 4 on the bike, which uses mostly unpaved gravel roads popular with local cyclists.
We will also take care of your accommodation and luggage transfers, so all you have to do is enjoy your cycling and the beautiful towns you'll visit.

Day 1: Arrival - Ronda
Arrival day will consist of a briefing and free time. We will arrange a time to meet you, hand over the bicycles and all other necessary equipment and answer any questions you might have.
Day 2: Ronda to Grazalema - 43 km/27 Miles
Your first day on the saddle will be the longest of the 4 days.
The route will take you down below Ronda’s famous Punte Nuevo bridge and out towards the Grazalema Natural Park, passing by the Cueva del Gato cave and water hole which is used by locals to swim in its cold water on a hot day. From the cave, you will ascend past two small mountain villages and views of a local dam. From the dam, you will pass through forests of cork oaks as you make your way with a final ascent into Grazalema town.
The accommodation we usually use is on the edge of town, so a short walk into the plaza once you have checked in makes a nice way to end the day.
Total Ascending - 1031m
Total Descending - 944m
Day 3: Grazalema to Zahara de la Sierra - 18 km/11 Miles
Your second day cycling will be the shortest route of the tour and lasts only 18km.
A simple route that starts with an ascent up above Grazalema, providing you with endless panoramic views of the town from above and the surrounding countryside. The uphill sections finish at Puerto de las Palomas, a mountain pass with a viewpoint overlooking the Natural Park from an altitude of over 1300m. After Las Palomas, you have a fun, long descent into Zahara de la Sierra to end your ride.
Total Ascending - 467m
Total Descending - 781m
Day 4: Zahara de la Sierra to Setenil de las Bodegas - 35 km/22 Miles
On your third day cycling, you will head to one of Spain’s most unique towns, Setenil de las Bodegas.
The route will follow the road that takes you along the lake before your first climb, which finishes with beautiful views of Montecorto village and the surrounding landscape. A relaxing descent down a windy country road will take you into Montecorto, which makes a great place to stop and enjoy a coffee or a drink before you continue. From Montecorto you will ascend again using quiet country roads, passing farmland, vineyards and the old Roman ruins of Acinipo, once a very important town to the Roman Empire. Finally, you will gradually descend into Setenil, passing olive groves and epic panoramic views of the countryside.
Depending on your accommodation, the route will most likely take you through the town on the way to your hotel.
Total Ascending - 880m
Total Descending - 833m
Day 5: Setenil de las Bodegas to Ronda - 29 km/18 Miles
The 4th and final day on the saddle will take you back to Ronda using gravel tracks that are popular with the local cycling community. After the initial ascent, the route flattens out back to Ronda.
Cycling through olive groves, farmland, vineyards, and oak forests makes it a peaceful and pleasant ride, showcasing the rich relationship Ronda and its residents have with the local countryside.
The final few kilometres take you through Ronda to your accommodation.
Total Ascending - 456m
Total Descending - 298m
Day 6: Departure
*Additional days can be included with or without activities.
