This itinerary is built around the iconic white villages of Andalusia, including three local jewels officially recognised by 'Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España': Grazalema, Zahara de la Sierra, and Vejer de la Frontera. To hold this title, a town must meet strict cultural, historical, and aesthetic criteria. On this expanded 12-day journey, you will experience these celebrated spots while cycling past the famous rock-carved streets of Setenil de las Bodegas and through the hilltop strongholds of Olvera, Arcos de la Frontera, and Medina-Sidonia.

Day 1: Arrival in Ronda
Arrive in the clifftop town of Ronda, famous for the breathtaking Puente Nuevo spanning the Tajo Gorge. Enjoy free time exploring the old town's cobblestone streets. Bike hand-over and briefing take place today or on Day 2 morning depending on your arrival time.
Day 2: Ronda (Rest & Preparation)
A full day at leisure to explore Ronda’s bullring, Moorish baths, and historic palaces. Meet and greet with bike fitting if not completed on Day 1.
Day 3: Ronda to Olvera – 48 km
Ride north through olive groves and countryside tracks on a mix of quiet roads and gravel tracks toward Olvera, dominated by its striking hilltop castle and neoclassical church.

Day 4: Olvera to Zahara de la Sierra – 31 km.
Leave Olvera behind as you cross rolling hills and approach the Sierra de Grazalema. Finish with a scenic approach toward the turquoise reservoir beneath the fortress of Zahara de la Sierra.

Day 5: Zahara de la Sierra to Grazalema – 38 km.
A rewarding mountain stage taking you into the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. Expect sweeping panoramic views as you ascend into one of Spain’s most picturesque mountain villages.

Day 6: Rest Day in Grazalema.
A rest day in Grazalema’s mountain air. Take time to relax in the lively village square, sample local artisanal cheeses, or enjoy a hike through the Spanish fir tree forest (pinsapar) in the Natural Park.
Day 7: Grazalema to El Bosque – 37 km.
Descent day out of the high mountains down into the western foothills of the natural park, winding through valleys alongside clear mountain streams to the charming town of El Bosque.

Day 8: El Bosque to Arcos de la Frontera – 40 km
A smooth cycling day following back roads down toward Arcos de la Frontera, a cliffside town considered one of the iconic gateways to the white village region.

Day 9: Arcos de la Frontera to Medina-Sidonia – 53 km
Ride south across countryside tracks and rolling farmlands to Medina-Sidonia, an ancient hilltop town rich in Roman, Moorish, and medieval heritage.

Day 10: Medina-Sidonia to Vejer de la Frontera – 58 km
The final cycling stage takes you toward the Atlantic coast, finishing with a scenic climb up to the white village of Vejer de la Frontera, famous for its Moorish architecture and coastal views.

Day 11: Rest Day in Vejer de la Frontera
Spend your final full day relaxing in Vejer. Wander its whitewashed alleyways, enjoy coastal seafood dining, or take a short trip to nearby Atlantic beaches like El Palmar.
Day 12: Departure Day
Enjoy a final Andalusian breakfast overlooking the countryside before departing or extending your stay on the Costa de la Luz.
